A Friendly Amateur Radio Club serving the Sacramento region
Founded on September 1, 2025, the Capital Radio Club brings together amateur radio operators of all backgrounds, ages, and experience levels. Whether you’re brand‑new to the ham radio hobby or have been licensed for decades, you’ll find in K6SAC a welcoming community of Hams who are ready to learn, share, and have fun.
Winter Field Day
Noon January 23 to the 25th at 3:00pm
Contest Period: January 24 at 8:00am to January 25th at 1:59pm, local time
We are having a Potluck on Friday & Saturday Night. There will be an outdoor kitchen for communal use. There are no fees and this is a no-host event so bring your own chairs/provisions/food/drink/supplies, as well as items to share. You're invited to bring your own antenna and radio or use someone else's; there will be plenty. We will have a camp fire going most of the time. During the event we will be monitoring the K6SAC Repeater 145.550 RX, (+2.050 offset) 147.600 TX, and CTCSS of 110.9. Our camp will be in the far back of the property, just keep driving straight down the driveway following the small signs driecting you past the house.
